ANTIEPILEPTICS USE IN PREGNANT WOMEN
Abstract
Epilepsy is a common neurological condition in women of reproductive age. Being careful in antiepileptic treatment during pregnancy can avoid birth defects in off springs. Valproic acid, Carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, lamotrigine, oxcarbazepine are some of the antiepileptics used even during pregnancy.
